i'm right there with you josh.. as long as they lay under the hood/bed then the bigger the better. i would have thrown 24's on mine but... i wasn't really able to afford to build a completely new frame which i would have needed to stuff such a huge wheel and have it lay. but i will be throwing a set of 24's on my new daily driver.....my 92 ext cab....not planning on lowering it or anything like that just throwing wheels on it and a system and driving it.
still we are the few who have gone 22's or bigger all around.

the v8 was last minute. i got it bored 60 over as well. should be a bad mother fucker with that v8 in there!!
