If I had a pic of it I'd deff post it up for you....there is a little on mazda trannys here on solomiata's site
and some on mazdatruckin's site under b2200 tranny interchange there are some pics...
one way to know a little better would be to take a gander at your trannys housing and look to see if there is a stamp in the casing that has MXX-D
if there is such a stamp, then you should be able to do a swap....

this things lookin sick man. i got an extra tranny that ill try and snap a few pics of.

The trannys in the pre 84 2.0L are junk. There known for being junk.

nother interesting note, by the looks of one of your last pics...the rear axle in your truck looks suspiciously like the one that I put in my truck from an 84-85 rx-7 gsl-se.....disc brakes & lsd.....you might be able to swap out the chunks & get lsd....but if you had the $$ now would be the time to find one of those axles since you would need to put your link tabs on it....just a thought bud...

Considering I haven't seen the truck in about a month it may be to late, it could be fully welded up. I appreciate the input, disc brakes would look good but overall the truck stops on a dime. So I got no complaints.

Any time frame for when its gonna be all finished up?
