on my mazda b2200 everything works when i got it just all of a sudden the first 2 lower speeds stopped working so i go to the junk yard and get another switch and replace it and it still does the same thing only the 2 high speeds work is this a common problem it has a brand new blower motor i was told there is a blower motor resistor what is that and what does it control i looked all over on my truck for it with no luck i also bought the hayes repair manual and it shows it with the blower motor but i dont see anything there just a vent tube can anyone help me out with this thanks
the problem your having is the risister, its on the heater box under the dash, it has a 4 pin plug on it, its held it with 2 phillips screws, i might be able to access it better if you pull out the glove box, i cant remember anymore
good luck!
i sounds like a wiring problem. just climb into the passenger seat and take a look at the connector on the motor and where the wires from the switch hook up. some thing might be loose or old and crap.
thanks im gonna start on it now thanks again
