I'm looking for a new or used Ignition switch for my 87 B2200 5 speed! How many different types of Switches do they make? I'm seeing types with wires and some with out them, and Also will automatic and 5 speed truck ignition interchangable?

Are you having an issue with the electrical half or the key not working right? If your having problems with the key not being able to turnover(like you have to wiggle the key) go down to your mazda dealer and have them make a virgin key off your vin number.

What my problem is that when the truck is ideling and i turn the key just alittle either way. The truck will want to die.
I got the chance today to dig into the column today. And found this, it seems to be a electrical prob.. So i'll be ordering a new electrical part and a new key!

I had the exact problem with mine. Oreillys has the cylinder and wiring replacement for $101.00 pretty sure how much it cost me.
