Didn't feel like tearing into mine yet...

Does the clear plastic that covers the cluster come off easily?

Yes if I remember correctly it has 4 bolts holding it over the gauges.

Yeah it comes off easily its only a few screws.

there are 2 screws and 4 clips that hold it on
