alright, i bought a Panasonic CQ 1300U deck tonight off a guy to put in my 89b2200. i connected all the wires to the other proper wires.................my problem is im getting no power to my deck. i tested the adapter that plaugs into the deck and its getting power, tested with a multimeter, but the deck as no power at all......any ideas...or is the deck dead?

also the fuse on the back of the deck is good too

Something's wrong, Can you post any pictures of the Wiring in the truck, and wiring in the Deck, cause i know the Stereo wires in my Truck for Constant 12v power, and Ignition aren't properly coloured, i just know this cause i tested them before i hooked it up.

Possible a deck problem if you have everything hooked up correctly tho.

Post some pics

put some dielectric grease on the plug in the back and on the contacts between the faceplate and the front of the deck. ive cured dozens of decks with all sorts of problems this way.

try connecting power directly to the head unit

The deck needs two sources of power: 12V constant or memory and 12V switched or accessory.

I've always hardwired my Head Units without going by the factory plug. Usually have to, lol.
