just got my popper kit today and wired it up the way it said to and when you hit the remote button it just makes the brain click and nothin happens.any help would be appreciated!

sounds like your solenoid to unlock your door isnt grounded properly. any pictures of the install? wiring em up isnt too difficult at all, so its probably something simple, take some detailed pics and we can figure this out for ya

Theres nowhere to put a ground wire on the solenoid.do they have to be mounted to work properly?would just mounting them to the inside of the door ground them?heres a link to the tech sheet

on the solenoid it self, on the opposing side of the positive terminal, is there another on that looks the same? if so that one needs to be to a ground, they might be lil cheapy weak solenoids that ground through mounting them, but typically they have a seperate ground, i only installed auto loc on anything i have done.

theres only one post on the solenoid.gonna try and ground them with the door.hopefullythat will work(crossing fingers).will let you guys know

i had to run a ground back into the cab mine would not ground on the door must be something to do with the bushings or something

you dont by any chance have any pics of the wiring harness on yours do you?just wondering how you wired it up.

think i got them figured out.just wondering where everyone mounted the brain!trying to find an out of the way place for it.

Ya under the dash is probably your best bet easy to hide and easy to get to when something goes wrong.
