Short Shifter anyone???

About a year ago i cut down my shifter shaft about an inch and a 1/2 with a pipe cutter. i love the feel of the short shifter. anbody else do this mod?

i put a long shifter on my old truck if that matters? I did the beer tap shift knob for a while.. that was pretty fun.. got a lot of attention. and then i made a LONG throw shift knob that was over my shoulder.. was kinda fun to drive.. then i went back to normal. Long throws are better for your tranny!

i got my truck from my bro and he did the same thing cut it w/a pipe cutter i like the way it feels aswell. does anyone know were i can get a gernade shift knob?

You can make them.. you can buy filled gernades at the army surplus.. make sure its a dud aka filled. And then just drill the bottom and tap it for your thread pattern.

I cut mine too, i made it real short, i wanted it to be straight, not bent.
