Frame Swap?

I have a B 2600i 4x4 that needs a new engine. I want to put a v8 in it. The transfer case on the truck goes to the right, but the engine I want to put in it is a 302 and the transfer case goes to the left.

My question is would it be easier to take the body off and put it on a different frame like a s10 or Ranger frame?
Or change the front and rear differential out for one out of a f150?

I would rather use a s10 frame because it can withstand a v8 better than the Mazda's, and yes I can weld body mounts so that's not a problem. What I want is what will fit the easiest without much modification.

I can't say I've done that swap but from taking apart trucks to the frame I would say the frame swap sounds easier to me.

get a yota 4x4 frame and axles and drop it all onto that. then you have solid axles and im pretty sure the front driveshaft will be on the correct side.
