I am thinkin of doing my maz in all spray on bedliner. Anyone seen another mazda done this way? How do you think it will look? I also just found these forums the other day and its pretty nice

i've seen jeeps and shitty 4x4's done in it. it looks alright i guess for like a lower half of some mud bogging type of 4x4...

well any other ideas for a cheap diy paint job?

tremclad/rustoleum rolled on with foam rollers, let dry and buff to you your hearts disire... google $50 or $100 paint job

I don't know what "cheap" is to you, but my paint job is pretty "affordable"... Equipment, Primer, Color and Clear... I am sitting at just under $350.

I own the compressor already, but I had to buy a HVLP gun and some sanding supplies...

I just went to Sherwin Williams Automotive for the paint.

I am doing a 4x4 build and I have debated doing the whole truck, lower part of the truck, just fender flares, fender flares and rockers... And I just did not like the look enough to do the spray liner. I still may do just rockers, but probably not. As far as cheap though, I wouldn't think this would be a very cheap way to go at all, though I have not looked at the DIY liners.

for sure you can buy a whole car worth of rattle cans for under $20
