What all do I need to do to the z71's in order for them to fit? bore? Or do they just slip right on?

You have a couple choices.
1. Bore the centers out
2. Grind your tabs off the hubs and drums
3. Spacers
They don't just slip over I think we all would wish they did though.

except you will need bulge head lugs...local tire store can hook you up
