tailgate hinges

alright i got my rollpan in and want to do somekind of flush hinge stytem for the tailgate cuz i dont want those hinges stickin out or to be seen at all for that matter. let me see what any of you guys have come up with. thanks.

if you made some hinges like a suicide door hinge you should be able to get it to work

not real sure on this but couldnt you put them on the inside of the tailgate and put them backwards?just a thought!

naw cuz the outside edge would drop into the rollpan. .

wot about putting the hinge pocket in behind the roll pan then set the hinge into the tailgate . Should work just like a door (tipped on its side)

Few years ago i saw a truck at a show in phx that had paino hinges for his tail gate. Didnt really get a good look at it but i would assume just make a spacer since paino hinges are much thinner.
