what have you guys done to get ridof them? what other hinges can you use? lol the stock ones look like shiiiiiiiiiiiiit

I'm going to get a set gm style hinges and try them, if they are too big then use them as a template and fab up a smaller version. they have the cups at the end of the tailgate.

you can also do a side hinge and use the GM hinges on the side of the tailgate so it opens up to one side.. not sraight down.

you can run a combo then its nice and smooth
