what one you you suggest 3/8 or 1/2.... not looking to do any fast movement... no hopping or anything crazy like that

3/8 valves are cheaper by a little bit, You said it yourself you dont want it to go fast so 3/8s it is.

will I still need to get fill/dump controllers if I go with 3/8 or is that some thing to figure out once it is all installed? i just want a nice up and down .... I hate the look of the truck popping up and rocking around, then slamming down to the ground.... I'm going for more of the smooth but efficient up and down....

i have a couple good 3/8" valves for sale and a good way to keep it smooth is to limit youre air pressure to 130-140 with out shocks but with shocks you could do 200 and it will still lift very nice , and as for down just get a brass filter i use those and they cut the sound a hell of a lot and slow it way down

IF you have 1/2" valves for dumps i would suggest running a sort secondary attatment to limit how fast the air will leave the bags even if its an endcap with a specific sized whole driled in it

if you ask for brass silecers i get them from a shop here in town that i get my fittings from just go to a semi truck parts shop they will have them they make it way quieter and slow id down pretty good to

I always tell everybody, to maximize flow run 3/8" valves with 1/2" line, 1/2" valves with 5/8" line or 1/4" valves with 3/8" line. Remember that is is cheaper to slow down your system than it is to speed it up, the most common setup is 3/8" valves with 1/2" lines and if that is to fast you can run inline flow controls on the lift and dump controls to slow down the drop.

he already said he doesn't want to jump or hop or have it go fast. 3/8s vlaves with 3/8s line, run 150psi, if its to fast for you, you can get some fitting reducers and put them in your dumps, say like 3/8s x 1/4 reducers. RUN SHOCKS no matter what size valves or bags or set-up you have. no shocks = dangerous and very bouncy
