so i might have found the stering box and idler arm from a hardbody. would it be possible for that to work on my 1989 b2200?

it would be nice with the rack and pinion, but you can do rhd with the stock box and steering linkage.

dont really wanna flip it. if i use stock components its gonna be stock rhd from overseas. im doin a 4.3 swap and not sure on space if i flip the stock.

Theres room to do it with stock parts with a v8, so theres room for it with the 4.3.

maybe. id rather not cut up my center linkage. and do it right. this is being built as a daily/ long driver.

If your willing to cut your motor mounts and weld in new motor mounts, align the engine, and cut the drive shaft. then to cut and reweld the steering link is nothing.

do you have more pics of the process? that would be awesome. the other post on here dosent have a lot of pics to really help me get the idea.
