wanting to switch to a toyo rearend what kinda issues would i have and does the pinions just swap out or is there any fabing that i would have to do

Youll need to have the driveshaft modified with the toyota flange on the end. If your bagged its no harder than welding on new tabs for link bars, if you still have leaf springs youll have to move the mounts out so they line up.

not as easy as welding just anything.... a drive shaft needs to be balanced and straight or will cause a lot of vibration and could damage the trans and rear end..... take it to a drive shaft shop.... shouldn't cost more then $200 to have it welded together and they will be able to balance it correctly.....
