The 508 will work fine. It has 5 pistons instead of the 7 in the 708. Never seen a 575 so idk about that one.

i think the inline oilers ar crap, i just manually fill the compressor every other day or so takes like 2 minutes and you know oil is in it

Have a 508 on the daughters truck with the factory brackets. Can only say WOW. I mean the AZ pumps air better than any other single electric compressor.... but, you switch over to the EDC and its like having 4 AZ's running at the same time.

I personally do not have an in-line oiler. I have been adding oil thru the plug on the top frequently and draining the oil/water separator just as frequently - but IMO it's worth it!

Yah we put an oiler on my buddys and it didnt really do anything. Id say just run without one and check the oil frequently.

sounds good guys thanks alot for the feedback. As far as the list on what I need.

1. The actual pump and bracket.
2. Some type of air filter
3. Check valve on the tank
4. Line going from the pump to tank ( which I have, hydraulic line)
5. Pressure switch ( already have it)
6. ????

Do I have to tap and rethread the holes on the pump???

Yah one hole needs to be tapped to 1/4" NPT and the other to 3/8"NPT.

For my setup, I just used one of the valve cover filters you can get at AutoZone and clampted it onto the stock intake tube. If you get the pump/bracket at a junk yard, you can probably also get most of the stock output tubing (rubber & metal). As for the pressure switch, I only have one on the system. Output from the switch goes to the dash to a pair of toggle switches. One for the EDC, the other to the relay for the electric pump. Run either or both, your choice.
