Yep, and it works great....I like to put the new pivot a bit further away from the stock one...but it does work good though, and saves room..

yah thats a toyota front. i believe its an 81 toyota hilux.

That's Seth Bomar's truck. You guys should see his entire truck! It's a very nice upcoming underconstruction truck, and he's only 17-18yrs old!

What you're doing is running that 2nd bushing there to turn it to an "A-arm" control arm. By doing that, you can get rid of the things usually called "strut rods" that goes from the arm to the front of the frame. It's that diagonal rod you see in that picture that is pointing right and up. Mazdas have one also.

It's a clever mod.

What size tubing is that? What side tubing would work on our mazdas? I'm going to do that and put my lower shock mount on the bar.

i'd say at least 1" o.d.

been thinking of doing that to mine myself.....

It would be easier to do that and relocate the shock. I also have the problem of my tie rods hitting the strut rods and I can't turn when I'm driving low. I've already worn a nice little divet into the strut rod and worn the end of the tire rod down.
