ok, has anyone dealt with firestone compressors? my truck has 2 3gal tanks and 2 firestone compressors...model number 24-3582-9210. i got on firestones web site and they are 158.00 a peice, rated at 35% duty cycle and 145 psi. just want to know if anyone has had any problems with these are not. the rear setup will eventually all be redone but i have to work with what i've got for now.

don't really know much about air ride compressors, but 35% duty cycle sounds pretty low.....

same here and i am thinking the same. but there are 2 and 2 3 gal tanks so i hopeing for little or no problems. i shut the valve off to the nitrogen and made the compressors come on earlier and they aren't real loud and don't take very long to fill up. i am learning all this stuff now though.

i have one as a back up for my edc, for a 12 gal tank, i have to let it cool 2 times while filling if i use it instead of the edc, there an ok comp but it wouldn't wanna rely on it as my only comp

I would rather have firestone than air zenith. Its hard to kill a firestone compressor, if you are switch happy, yes you will need a few, but firestone tells it like it is. It will just about work forever at 35% duty cycle. I ran the hell out of 2 of them for 3 years on a 5 gallon tank, and never had a problem. Still got one now in my dually as a backup for my engine driven. AZ will not run forever, they have many issues, I know many people have gone through 2-3 of them in a year, Instead of giving "safe" numbers they give bloated numbers. Hmmm, I run mostly viair for customers, they seem to be the best bang for your buck these days without having to worry "is it going to break?".

phil, did you run 2 compressors on 1 5gal tank or 2 tanks? they seem to be working fine but if go up all the way once tap it down a little and come backup they kick on.
