i have a 2x4 89 mazda b-2200 5-speed manual with p225/75/R14 6-bolt pattern.

my dad have a 98 4-runner with a 6-bolt too.

just for kicks i put on his spare tire (p265/70/R16) on and it raised my truck about 3 in.

the back was ok, but the front was hitting the front wheel-well.

i'm about to get some 16 in. but i don't know size to get.

p.s i want to go with fat tires, not low profiles

I HAVE 16X7 CENTERLINE BILLETS & AM RUNNING 225/50-16'S IT HAS ENOUGH SIDE WALL ON THE TIRE IT FILLS UP THE WHEEL WELL, YET STILL
HAS THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A LOW PROFILE TIRE FOR HANDLING PURPOSES, ARE YOU GOING TO LOWER THE TRUCK ANY OR KEEP IT @ FACTORY HEIGHT? IF YOU AREN'T LOWERING IT, YOU COULD GO WITH
A 225/60-16 ON A 7" WIDE RIM, AND SHOULD STILL BE OK.

thank you.

my dad's tire was 265/70/16.
i don't want to slam it.
i want to raise it up about 3 in.

i know that alot of people are going to get mad or tell me that i'm at the wrong web site.
but i don't want a low rider.

as to why?

one day after work i walked to my truck and there was 2 cars. first car was a small car maybe a GEO or something and it had 14 in. it look like i could take off my rims and wheel, and put it on his car. the 2nd car was a truck maybe a nissan frontier 4x4. man his truck was high. i think the tire alone was as hight as my truck bed. from there i know that i wanted to go up.
i'm not planning to go 4x4 but i just like the feeling that if there a dip in the road (i live in cal) i can just keep on going.

thank
