Hello, I'm new here and hope someone can help. I have a '90 B2200 CabPlus and the frontend has gotten very loose. I want to rebuild it but, have never done it before. I have a Haynes manual but it is hard to tell what needs to be replaced. Can anyone tell me what parts need to be replaced for a basic front end rebuild? Or if you can tell me anything that can be done to improve steering and suspension without major modifications?
Thanks!
Scott
My brother just had to redo alot of stuff on his hardbody before any shop would do a basic alignment. He had to get a new center link, new idler arm, all new balljoints, and tighten the wheel bearings. Some of that might help you, but you could stop by a shop that does alignments and they could check everything thoroughly for you.. but then order the parts online or at a different store, and do it yourself to save like $200 lol.
