thanks for the reply, its sorta a novelty thing & something to be different, but will deffinately add power...
i've thought of trying to source a bongo head from overseas or canada as they are 12v, but that is another story.....
Didnt IMMORTAL build a truck with a 12V Bongo head and turbo it some time back??Or did he ever finish that project.BJ
me thinks that was gravity5, but it was just the 12v from the 626....although he said the bongo head will work
Nytryder remebr we talked about this a while back lol i still def want one!!! do it up my friend!!!
yeah, i remember, i also said something to blazerpimp when he had asked about one.....
i got my dcoe's in yesterday , haven't had a chance to take a pic of them yet....i have to get the flange pattern off of the carbs, i already have the one off the head, and i can get it drawn out on my cad program, i'll be able to get some of these whipped out....
omg i want that bro thats what i wanted to do dam your the man.im in
thanks for the replys guys, it may take a little bit to get these manifolds done, just bear with me as i am doing all the r&d myself. i am hoping to have one done in a month or so, just depends on my work schedule.
i have only one issue i'm still trying to figure out on this setup. the dcoe's don't have input for vaccum advance off the dizzy so it is either re-curve the dizzy for mechanical only timing, or figure a way to pull advance from the manifold, only problem with coming from the manifold is, that @ idle, it would be pulling full advance, and at wot, it wouldn't pull any at all....
bass-ackwards of what it needs to do. i have heard of drilling & tapping the carbs, but damned if i want to drill into a perfectly good carb!
please keep in mind, this is just the manifold, depending on what i come up with on the vaccum thing, this will either require getting your dizzy recurved or if i can find a way to source the correct vaccum off the manifold, you will just need 2 weber 40 or 45 dcoe's, the linkage, and a choke cable...i got the two carbs, linkage, and a syncrometer (for tuning) from racetep for right @ $900, and a choke cable from summit for $6.....
i will keep everyone posted, and as soon as i get something together, i'll post up pics
alll hail nytryder the carb god!
don't know that i'd go as far as sayin all that
well every time i have a problem so far youve anwsered it so ill say your the man bro <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" />
