engine rebuild

not the rod bearing im talking about the main bearings there has to be a way to tap them outut i just dont know with what.

thanks a million mazdatweeker a family member was supposed to help me out and i just cant wait any longer. ok now when i put the new ones back indo i oil up the whole bearing or just the side that sits on the crank shaft?

oil everything that you put back in. when i do an ebgine, I normally drop the parts in a caffe can with about 2 quarts of oil in it, befor I put them inside the engine. that way if it's gonna be a while befor I run the engine, I ain't gotta worry about any kind of rust or anything of the sort.
