true but, same block as 86-93 b2200, should bolt to our trannys, not sure if the input shaft would have the same size spline count, might have to swap cranks....

I'm 99% sure this goes for all mazda's but the engine series (F-series B-series K-series etc) matches the trans series and any other engine in that series can bolt to that trans. My example is in my 323 I took out the b6 and put in a bpt it bolted in place using the same mounts (except pass side) and bolted to the tranny the same. Same goes for mx3's a K-08 can be replaced with a KL-ZE easily. With rx7's a 20b fits in place of a 13b with minor work. Plus havn't people on this site done this already?

yeah Ive seen a couple of b's with rotors in them I like those motors there strong as hell more so if you turbo them or just a little bit of motor work and they soung great with a good exhaust all the way to 10k on the tack

I no the owner of my car club has a 81 courier ( same thing as our mazdas) and it was a direct bolt in on his 2.3 ford pinto motor.
