has ne body seen a ford ranger mortor in a older b truck you kn ow the one that they put in everything from the pinto to the mustang I think its a 2.2 not real sure

those are very common swaps in the older mazdas like mine because they are a direct bolt in.

I think your referring to the pre 84 mazdas right?

yeah I have been considering that motor for my truck when it comes time to swap it just because there pretty common and parts wouldnt be hard to come by and a turbo shiiiiiiiiiiiat.

Yep.This thing was set up with an HKS intercooler,the Merkur 5 speed,etc,etc,and the rest of the truck was totally stock.Talk about ur ultimate sleeper.I bet the thing would do 14's or 15's in the quarter.How would u like to get ur doors blown off by a stock looking 87 Mazda longbed.Lol.BJ

they run them at a local track in the mustangs and pintos and good god at the power they get out of them but there not boosted there natural i was thinking about tring one in my 86 b2k just i brain storm though might try a rotory

slammed83 are you talking about a 2.3 ford is a direct bolt in? if so i know a guy who has an old turbo coupe thunderbird i can get pretty cheap.
