cylender head

whats the most youll pay for a new cylender head? and whats to much for a cylender head?

it all depends.... is it new, recondisiond ( i know i cant spell), Bare, Assembled, or just a plain used one?....used its worth a hundred bucks in its weight in metal.....mabe 150 for a good used one is fair...if its recon. then 4-500 bucks probably is fair....if its bene worked on ( port polish, bigger valves ect.. the skys the limit)

its brand new with cam for 432.00 the machine shop guy said that my head had a crack but that it wasnt leaking but he recomended me buying a new one. he also had me buy new head bolts and said that i should change head bolts after every head job.

Worth it if it has a guarantee.BJ

yea sounds like a good deal.....just curious how long the the mecanic have your truck at the shop for?

he had my head for about a week before he told me i had a crack on my head but that it didnt leak he just said it would be safe just getting a new head.
