ok guys on the webber i just connect my choke to the alt? not sure i read that right

do not attatch the alt wire to the choke your gonna fry it.......use the low voltage wire that went to the stock carb

the low volt wire that went to the stock carb is low volt off of the back of the alternator......., i think that the elect choke on the webers requires 12 volts though.....need to contact them & verify that, as the low volt (7v) from the alt won't be enough to operate the webers choke properly.....

I connected the wire from my old carb that went to the alternator... I havent tried to crank it yet but that is wher my wire was connected... So are you saying that this will not work???? If so where do you need to have the power source from??? Does it need to be a fuseble link? Does it need a switch?
