i had my flywheel machined to be lighter, but the machinest said going too light will effect the driveabilty big time.

i'm not really sure what he ment.

it's sorta along the lines of what speedster93b above, you want one light enough that you can see some beneficial performance gains, but not so light as to cause the engine not to slow down too. also too light & you may adversly effect the engines harmonics......
