adjustin valves

can some one give me tips on adjusting the valves for a carb 2.0 and the specs .. will this cure most of the ticking noise ?

can only adjust an 86 or 87- all others are hydro-lash valves- and have no adjustm,ent. If they are ticking- then replacement is required.

86-87- adjust hot- .030 intake and exhaust.

I run mine at .006" on the intake and .008" on the exhaust set it then run the motor for a bit and recheck
