intake manifold swap?

hey guys i was wondering if anyone has swapped a 626 intake manifold on to a 2.2 fi motor? i've heard that they line up ok

Would this give any more power? i think it would instead just because the intake won't run over the valve cover and get heat soaked and i think it would look much cleaner
