2600 redline?

i'm just wondering the redline on a carbed 2600 motor. i dont have a tach in either cluster i have soooo im not sure......im guessing around 6k

buddy at a local jobber said he used to shift his 2600 at 7 k all day.....

i think thats a little high, but im no mechanic

redline is diffrent for every wichile depending on wear the only true way to tell is get it dynoed but that cost a lot i shift my mazda b 2000 at about 5.5k

well my motor is a fresh rebuild, bored .30 over, basically stock rebuild tho.

oh you know it, im expecting HUGE power #'s mahahhahahaa

i just did an italian tune up to my truck earlier today. shifted it couple times at around 5500-6000 lol. it's a 2.0. runs great again

i'd keep it around the 5000 are and you should be good.
