More problems

Today on the highway my trottle go stuck i think
I let off the gas and it acted like i never took my foot off of it
soo i turned of the truck and started it back up again
if im light on the gas and quick to change gears i dont have a problem but if i go too far in giving it gas it sticks again

any ideas

At least 2 posibilities,throttle cable is sticking or binding or the butterfly shaft is sticking in ur carb.Take top off the aircleaner and spray carb cleaner or WD-40 on the shaft and see if that loosens it up.Also manually rotate the shaft where the cable attaches and be sure the cable runs free.Lube what u can see of the cable as well.Get up under the dash and be sure the accelerator linkage looks ok and is not stuck or binding.I wouldnt drive the truck till u get it fixed.BJ

do you use graphite or other lubes on your throttle cable?
