I have a '93 B2600i 5-spd Cab Plus that I push over the "century mark" on a regular basis, is that common for a 2.6, or am I actually doing something right?? I wouldn't say that my truck is "stock", LOL! Anybody else out there with a 2.6 FI??

An d for verification, If I catch it on video or still pics does that count? I dont want the ticket for proof.

I have a DOA 2600i in my drive way that would regularly hit 100 until it grenaded. The stock 2600i's I believe are rated at 120 hp which is more than enough to get them to 100.Its us por old 85 hp 2200 freaks that strain and struggle to get past 85.Lol.BJ

I have to admit, she behaves pretty good when I get her up there, no shakin', no heatin' up, pretty smooth for a '93 with 130k. I have most of my "speed competitions" on the freeway, so I have my timing "turned" the other way, retarded a few degrees, it really helps out on the top end. The few that I get involved in off the freeway, I just make sure I am using the upper rpm range, about 3-5k rpm.
