i want to "stream line" my engine bay so when i pop the hood its just engine. i wanna remove all the wires leftover from when i took off my emissions stuff that are on the passenger side inner fender. how do i go about removing these harnesses

if you pulled the stock carb then the only wires on the pass side you need is the ones for the wipers

well how do i get to the the wiring harness on the other side of the firewall? do i have to take the dash out? and i still have my stock carb just without the emmissions on it

the wiper wires go through the firewall and that side. And you should be able to get your hand up in there

what about the little black box that looks like it has relays on it that sits behind the battery. what is it and can i get rid of it?

i donno exactly what its called but dont get rid of it...i had one of those fuses blow and by truck wouldnt start. -bf

They're the main fuses, don't get rid of them.

MOST OF THOSE WIRES RUN TO THE ECU MOUNTED ON THE PASS FRONT KICK PANEL, YOU COULD PULL THE HARNESS OFF THE ECU, PULL THE HARNESS INTO THE ENGINE BAY BY REMOVING THE FIREWALL GROMMET, AND EASILY SEE WHAT WIRES RUN TO WHAT, KEEP THE ONES YOU NEED, & PASS IT BACK THRU THE FIREWALL INSTALL GROMMET, GOOD TO GO!

dang thats the aswer i was lookin for will i get any leaks through the grommet if there are less wires running through it?
