Reman carb? Is float level set correctly?Is accel pump working?Also check engine to chassis ground wire and be sure it isnt broken or rusted up. BJ

ive tried starting fluid and the ground is fine but what is the dizz lock bolt?

its the bolt u screw in to make sure the distributor doesn't spin. if it comes loose, breaks in half, etc. it'll change the dist position so the timing will be off

Mark, dont lie. You know you cut blares bolt with a cut off wheel, then superglued it back together to give him trouble down the road.
