ok i got my weber 32/36 carb. yersterday, i was reading the information that came with it, and was wondering if i could remove the egr valve from the intake. I want to make a plate out of sheetmetal to cover up the holes. Is anyone doing this are they just leaving it on. One more thing, can i remove the o2 sensor or do i still have to use it. Im running a pacesetter header.
I did exactly that. Made a plate out of sheetmetal and bolted it in. I used some silicone on it just in case. The o2 sensor can be removed. I just cut the wire off and left it bolted in my pacesetter.
Thanks for the info, i live about 20 minutes from calhoun.
I live in Kingston, right on the otherside of Adairsville.
Ahh hell. You ever come to Calhoun? There are NO trucks worth a shit here. I wish you could have seen my old one before I wrecked it a couple weeks ago. But the new one will be done soon. Let me know if you need some paint or airbrush work. Does Catfish still have a shop in Kingston? You may not know him, he is a black guy that does pretty much nothing but hydros.
I go to calhoun about once or twice a month. I also know catfish, he lives about 10 minutes from my house. The catfish i know is white tho. He does very go work but he takes forever. He done a few minitrucks in rome for some of my friends(2 nissans and a s10). He does airbags also. Maybe if im in calhoun one day i'll stop by.
i'm making one for my intake out of aluminum, and also one for where the old mech fuel pump went.
I was mistake, the Catfish Im speaking of is the same one. My partner at the shop, who does airbrushing, used to have a Caprice with hydros and he knows him. I was thinking he was black but today he said he was white. Are the nissan's you speak of in Rome part of the Driveway Dreams club? If so I saw them at a show.
Yeah, the red nissan with tribal flames and the green s10. The white nissan was bought about 6 months ago, but i dont know who did the work on it. Hopefully i'll have mine back together soon, in the process of a 3" bd.
