GM cs130 help!!!!!!!!!!
okay i bought a 200 amp gm cs130 alternator and im not sure what to do with the other wires there is 4 one goes to the choke another to battery and there are two more and they plug into the back of the stock alternator.
can i get rid of these or not????
I DON'T THINK YOU CAN GET RID OF THOSE, SOMEONE ELSE ON HERE HAS A GM ALT HOOKED UP ON THEIR MAZDA, CANT REMEMBER WHO THO.
what are they for tho
what if i got rid of them and got a weber carb??
Im running a gm 1 wire on my v8 but they never work right with the the one wire hooked up. There should be more then 1 hook up on the back right???
there should have been a harness that unhooked from the back of the stock alt...it's got the voltage sensor and accesories hooked up with it
so i need to hook up all of those wires?
There are four wires.
1st-Black wire goes direct to the battery. That's the alternator output.
2nd-Black/White wire is switched from the ignition switch to alternator.
3rd-White/Black wire goes to the charging warning light in the instrument panel.
4th-Yellow/Blue wire goes to the carburator electric choke heater.
Alternator body to ground.
Now I guess you can figure out what you need.
so i dont need the warning light and what about the choke
