Ok, heres what going on i found a 84 Mazda in great condition but it needs a motor, i have a good 87 2.0 in my garage. Just wandering if the motor & tranny mounts and the same or different. And what all it would take to put the 2.0 in the 84...

79-84 b2000 engines are ma blocks
85-87 b2000 engines are fe blocks
87-93 b2200 engines are f2 blocks
the heads on the 85-87 & 87-93 will interchange.
as far as puttin an 87 b2000 motor in the 84, i'd
say you will need the 87's motor, tranny, mounts,
wiring harness, and possibly the driveshaft.
85-87 b2000 engines are fe blocks
87-93 b2200 engines are f2 blocks
the heads on the 85-87 & 87-93 will interchange.

Ok well i have everything i have the motor tranny and everything to convert a 86-93 mazda from auto to 5 spd but my buddy sold his truck and told me to keep all the parts that were at my house..Ok guys just wandering!
