You just cant shove the distrubutor back in with out making sure the engine as TDC.

OK i made sure the engine is TDC.. Is this right took the spark plug in cylinder 1 put a screw driver in the whole, turned the pulley untill the crew driver came all the way to the top so the #1 piston is on the top... Then put the spark plug back in the hole, too the dizzy off and made sure the fring started at #1 and still nothing just cranking and cranking ...

You need to put the engine in TDC.
1. Remove the upper timing belt cover.
2. Rotate the crank pulley clockwise with a 21mm socket and align the crank pulley mark with the lower timg belt cover zero.
3. Align the cam pulley arrow with the mark above the sprocket. If it is not lined up, rotate the crank another full turn.
You are now at TDC.
4. Now trace the #1 spark plug wire at the dizzy cap. Mark it's location on the dizzy body. Then remove the dizzy cap.
5. The rotor should point to the mark that you scribed in the dizzy body.
6. If not, you need to pull out and reinstall the dizzy so that the rotor is pointing to #1 scribe mark.
It should fire up unless the used dizzy is also shot.

You are deff out of timing, get it right and she should fire. Get a timing light. If you cant afford one go to Advance Auto or something similer buy one, use it and take it back.

now my starter is busted, wont crank anymore, just kind of clicks, sometimes will slowly turn over twice, im having terrible luck with this truck now.

well i tried boosting it too, and th battery has been charged up to the max. its the starter. new one is $126 at automotive warehouse, so i'll pick that up, and if it doesnt start then i will be very very angry, i allready spend a whole bunch of cash on plugs, wires, coil, distributor, alternator, muffler, and some other stuff, thats like $400 in a week, and its not running. im getting frustrated.
