carb size

so what did you guys buy to put the small air cleaner on?

the thing in the link above will allow you to use any air filter designed for a 4 barrel.....

mine was a 2.0, maybe the carbs are different????

the bottom that goes on the carb is too small... i have to check the package to make sure they gave me the right one.

hmm......i dunno, on my b2000, it was a TIGHT fit, but it slid on fairly easy......it curves out and gets bigger as it goes up.......maybe you could trim it a little.....farther up the curve u went the bigger the whole would get......or maybe just try sanding it a little.......

they sent me the size i ordered.. im goin to try the sanding/trimming thing tomorrow and see what happens

so whats the air cleaner look like your putting on?

just a round 10" one i had sitting around.. im goin to get another one, the one i have i sold, just wainting on the guy to pick the stuff up along with the aircleaner.

lol, well i just tried to trim it and that didnt work, i bought 2 5/8 i need the one that goes to 3 1/16"

so if you can get them jeremy let me know.. i need a new one. and if some one wants one... that will fir a 2 5/8" hole let me know.. i paid 15 shipped so ill let it go for alot less

I have the right one layin on my spare motor in my garage but it's hardly worth shipping it to ya unless u'd want to...pm me...
