Massive motor overhaul project

Smogging anything in cali is a biotch. Your gunna need a motor from the same or newer year as your truck and it has to have all the original equipment on it....Not just smog but everything. Your best bet is to find someone that does smog and pay them some cash to run another vehicle under your VIN. Going rate in cali for that now is about $300. I know, I used to live there and my bro still does and thats what he has to do to get his mazda to pass. Good Luck!
