Help Timing Marks

I just got the motor in my bdoubleduece rebuilt and it acts life the timing belt maybe off some,, the book says that theres an arrow on the cam sproket but mine has 1,2,3,4, with arrows at each one anyone know what I'm talking about help?

Should be a A, B, C, with arrows. You want A. If there numbers im guessing you want #1 that should be TDC.

Thanx for the info, I've got it set to the arrow next to the #1 but it falls on its face just off of idle now. The distributor is set at 6btdc so i guess i'll have to check fuel pump pressure and volume

Did you disconnect the vacuum advance when you set your initial timing? You have to remove that vacuum hose and plug it with something and then set your timing. If you dont you will be running your timing way retarded. Cheers
