well, i think im just gonna say f it and do a swap now.
what all will i need for a 5.0 swap?
motor,tranny,motor mounts? that about it?
do i have to get custom headers?
Custom crossmember, stiffer suspension, custom driveshaft, custom wiring harness (if you do EFI)...
Oh and plan ona rearend a couple weeks down the road
is it customparts that has teh whole kit? all that you just said?

I Would highly recommend a painless wiring harness from painless . It would be less headaches for you in the long run .
painless wiring is a good way to go about it other wise you have a headache of trying to figure out what stays and what goes . Esp if your trying a clean look . DOn't Want a hacked up wiring harness in the engine bay eh? besides you'd have to get a harness that connects to the 5.0 ecm any how. So might as well do it right and doit it right the first time . Esp if your gona pull the dash out to glass it or anything like that .
