Hey,
I am having a problem with my clutch. Now I read the other posts on this topic and my pedal is doing the same think (sticking on the floor) All sugested it was the clutch slave cylinder. WEll I replaced that a blead it properly. but it has not gone a way. I hear a small squealing sound when the truck is idleing out of gear and as soon as I press in the clutch it goeas away but it can get it to go into to gear it just grinds or slames into gear. Plus when I do get it in gear I only have abuut an inch off the floor before it starts to engage.
The master cylinder is not leaking externally
 any ideas?
Thanks,
Bubba

first off welcome to the board.. to me it sounds like the throw out bearing. Did you check your clutch slave cylender? If thats acting up it will not engage the throw out bearing to retract the clutch plates. So check that guy first. It usually goes in order on mazdas. 1. master cylender 2. slave cylender 3. pilot bearing 4 clutch plates and TOB.

Thanks for the reply and welcome.
Yes i did replace the slave cylinder, and bled it as well. But like The problem has not gone away. I will check the master cylinder as well today. The truck has 209,000 KMS/125000miles so the whole clutch proably needs to be replaced anyway.

welcome my man! i would say with over 200k miles, if thats the smae clutch is probably definately needs to be replaced. i would go with that. my clutch was starting to act up around 125k when i rebuilt my engine.

lol I'm at 200,000k (160 m) and I'm on my fourth clutch. Last one has held up pretty good, either that or I grew up a bit and didn't thrash the beast as much. I lost one trying to teach a girl to use the stick....
