Not diggin the 50 post count to get in the classifieds.

I think it's a good rule, builds a stronger community and makes you feel safer buying something from a member. I don't know about you guys but I wouldn't feel as safe buying something from someone on craigslist vs here. I don't think you have to worry about getting robbed from a fellow member.

The basic rule to follow to avoid getting robbed is don't send it in the mail.

Payment in person, with title, and bill of sale is flawless.

Only idiots get robbed when buying a vehicle.

That would work maybe for vehicles but not buying small parts. I'm not going to travel 100 miles to buy tail lights I'm going to have them shipped. The reason that rule is in place is because we had a problem with people joining to off load their junk and I use to have it to only allow people with supporting memberships to post but because of the economy I opened it up to help people out. You can also get a supporting membership for $10 and then post an ad. Do you want to do that?

I think this comes down to you need to be a supporting memeber and alsp have to be on this site for more than a few days I like the idea of the 50 post but that does not work with guys posting dumb crap just to get thier post count up.

I believe it should go like this and if you are truly here to be part of this site then what I purpose will and should not be an issue. You need to be here for more than 3 months and a support member. Also you can not put up a link to other sites where you are selling items till the above is met or you will be banned on the spot. I know our economy sucks right now and thats why more precations should be made to protect us. I to do believe that the guys whining about this are only here to sell thier stuff and leave we have had a few on here get burnt pretty bad and honestly I have been burnt once and it does make you think if you want to be here. Sorry if this pisses people off but our friendships on here are very important. Just my 2 cents........

I have had a few people on here ask me for the link, would I still get banned on the spot if I do as they ask?

Regardless, my craigslist post is starting to work (something to do with the ungodly amount of snow we received up here the past few weeks I bet) so I might not even need to post it on here.

I've got a couple guys coming this weekend. I'll refer them to the site after the sale, I did the same when I sold my ranger with TRS.
