another funeral to attend for me

Got a call tonight from friends up the road from us and there 2 year old was in the emergency room, we told them to keep us informed, come to find out the little one got a hold of allergy pills and passed away shortly after getting to the hospital. The state came went in and took there 5 month old daughter, hard saying when they will get her back and have the death to deal with also. We are still trying to figure out where the kid was, with them or someone else and all of what happened.. Me the little one rest in heaven, surely didn't deserve to die so young!!!!

UPDATE:
found out the kids were in the house and the father went outside and left them unattended in the house. The state is going to be pressing charges against him for his actions.

oh man, thats sad,
i have no words to describe how i feel on this situation, just mixed feelings
rest in peace little one

so sad.... lose all you have for a couple of minutes outside.... prayers go out to the family for the devestation that has happened...

Well they have court tomorrow morning at 11am. It is said they have child endangerment charges as well as manslaughter charges on both parents. The son got down over a half a bottle of benadril down.

Am at work and wanted to let ya guys knwo how the hearing went. They can place the child in the custody of family or friends so they are working on that. as far as the son that died here is what we found out:

he was 16 months old
grandma said he brought her the bottle and was talking and walking fine
it was said the father went outside for a cigarette and came back in to him convulsing
then the case worker said there was open beer cans on the floor, house was a mess, pill bottles all over i nthe reach of the child, rat crap in the crib!!!!.
after the hearing we were all talking outside and the mother said they didnt search to well, if they had they would have found the open liquor bottles in the chair, my other pill bottles, rat poison, etc. I didnt know them personally as my as my girl, but when we both heard about the way the house was we so pissed off. They have another hearing to plead there case next month and if it goes to trial on getting there 5 month old back it wil be in november. They still have not set a date on the charges they are filing on both parents yet.

Sad, very sad. Thankfully I believe that kid is sitting with Jesus right now. As for them getting the 5 month back, I'll pray they don't. Some people are just not responsible enough to have kids, and this 5 month would be in a dangerous situation that already caused the death of its sibling.

Parents need to grow up when they have kids...should happen before hand. Life is not about you anymore. The kids you have should then become, next to God, the most important thing in your life. Pee's me off to see parents still trying to live the teenage life when they've got kids....drinking, smoking, drugs, etc.
