I'm prolly doin mine this winter, too.
Battery is already in the bed. Re-ran a few wires already, to clean it up a little.
Need to find a better spot for my HID-Ballasts, since you can see em threw my phantom grill.
I'm carbed, so I'll be getting rid of a LOT when I get my weber and header

Ok i got some pics on up of what i was trying to explain. Ill try to explain better with the pictures.

This is where i cut the main harness in half (right under the hood latch)
thread post photo

Pull the harness back through the gromet in the firewall in back into the cab. You wull have to unbolt the plastic harness inside the cab in order to get the wire back into the cab.

Drill a Hole out of the side of your cab underneath the cowl and pull the harness through that hole and run it outside of the inner fender back to the underside of the rad. support where you cant see it anyway.

Do the same on the pass. side of the truck. Then drop the fusebox and any other sensors you will need so that they sit underneath the battery tray out of sight but still accessable if needed.

After that i filled all the old holes that the sensors used to be in and everything else that i removed, spot welded them and then some bodyfiller to smooth it all out, Prime, Paint and your bay is tucked and shaved.

Im also tucking the brake lines and everything else so it will be just motor and carb in the bay, but im still working on figuring out where to relocate alot of the other stuff. But for now all the wires are tucked. Be sure to wireloom and elec. tape the harness that runs outside because it will be exposed to the elements. I dont plan on driving mine in any bad weather or anytime but summertime so i wasnt all to concerned about the wires being tucked up inside the fender.

im going to be soldering any wires i do cut and wrapping them, the harness you cut, after i took a closer look at mine is just the headlight harness and easily unplugs right by the battery tray and can be easily removed without unnecessarily cutting your headlight harness...

Thanks guys, I got rid of the washer tank and lines. As for the coolant tank its still in the stock location, but I plan swap out the stock tank and use some sort of energy drink bottle for the res. Just havn't gotten around to it yet.
