someone should really take the time to do a wire tuck write up tech article for those of us really curious about it... im starting to try to figure mine out... but being limited on money for electrical parts i dont want to get into anything where i need to reconnect/splice wires or anything... anyone have tips or good pictures of tucking the engine bay harnesses, ideally im just trying to clean stuff up right now...

I'm thinking about doing a painless wiring kit in the truck. My bro just had one done and it looks so clean. SO CLEAN!

but its still got the main engine bay harness for all the other crap that my truck still has. that would help a lot mikey! i would just need to figure out where im making the rest of my stuff go and that cant be too hard if i extend wires if i have to. extended my maf wires last night for a little extra room

Im not the best at explaining stuff over the internet but ill try to tell you what i did. Pull all the clips out of the rad. support and inner fenders that hold the main harness to the fender/support. I cut my harness in half underneath the rad. support right by the hood latch. pull it back all the way up to the firewall. i pulled mine through the rubber grommet on the firewall and used a wholesaw to come out of the cab by the cowl. run it along the fender (outside the bay) and back into the bay underneath the rad. support. do this to each side and your set for the main harness. than just wireloom/electrical tape the hell out of the wire and reclip it back to the outside of the inner fender (outside the inner fender but inside the actual fender) and that takes care of the main harness.

Take the fusebox and all the other stuff on the pass. side fender and relocate it under the battery tray.

Ill post up some pics in a couple minutes.
