Ok, so here's the problem... the daughter has a few .wav files that she wants to convert to .wma or mp3 so she can put them on her mp3 player. I have tried using Windows Media Converter and have had no luck. I also have some .wma files that I ripped at a super high sampling rate (why I don't remember) only to find they don't play on the mp3 player. How can I re-rip them to a lower sampling rate or format so that they play on the mp3 player.
I can find literally hundreds of converters using Google search but have no idea which ones are worth a crap or actually virus free and REALLY don't have the time to down load all of them to evaluate.
Any help would be appreciated.
