i see you are running 16s which is the smallest wheel you cant run with them and them clear. i have heard of a few wheels that the offset messes with it and wont allow for them to clear. Maybe some of the old school guys can help us out with this since back in the day peeps ran spindles but small wheels.

yeah i know if you have skinny wheels like 6.5" you can clear but these are 16s and they are on the wheel and the wheel wont turn unless i wanna jack up the wheel. I could just trim the stud down and 8th of an inch but i dont wanna mess up the threads

spindles are really for larger wheels. 20 or bigger. oh and btw. if you take a sawz-all and cut the remaining threads off you shouldn't have any problems with taking the nut off and back on. i cut threaded rod often at work with a sawz-all and hardly ever have any problems threading whatever it is i need onto the cut rod. leave the nutt on while you cut. then take the nutt off, it will straighten the threads.

you have to upgrade. i cut mine down and it didnt help. had to go to 17 in. the factory 14s will fit because they are narrower but they still rub on the inner lip.

i grinded it down and im clearing the wheels now, barely, the right wheel needed a lot less mod. i need to align this thing, my drivers side tire is turning right a little when the passenger side is straight. im lookin to get some 17s or 18s and new tie rod ends cuz those are now effed all grinded down.

I cut my inner fenders out today and now im layin frame finally. just gotta notch my rear x-member a little and finish cleaning up under the hood

Ok thats crazy because my drop spindles clear my 15" nissan pathfinder wheels. I have 18" billets but when Im working on my truck i bolt up my pathfinders and they clear my drop spindles just fine.
